It is you who know the truth of this world. You are one of the chosen few who know of the four Ancient Gods – infinite beings forgotten by history. Each god’s Sphere of Influence still permeates this world -- all living things are subconsciously bound to one of them. Tapping into the Spheres of Influence, you summon and command the might of enormous monsters, epic heroes and arcane dragons to defeat your enemies! Each duel brings new challenges, with the huge amount of cards available, you’ll always be up against strategies that push the limits of Alteil’s various gameplay mechanics – such as the day/night cycle and its effects on undead and lycanthropes, the Soul Card system that lets each player fine tune their Life Point total to better compliment rush or combo play styles, and the Revival system that turns extra copies of a unit in the deck into ‘extra lives’ for that unit on the field. Every match also yields exciting treasure drops, to help you build a vast card collection or just fine-tune and perfect your favorite decks! In addition to completing a successful Kickstarter and presenting at the Indie Megabooth at PAX East 2014, we’ve been lucky enough to get some great press for Alteil: Horizons. Here’s what they’re saying:Kotaku praised the team of artists, saying “Alteil: Horizons is actually an all-stars kind of ensemble title.”MMO Attack focused on the game, saying “Horizons combines what players love from their favorite trading card games with RPG elements”Massively.joystiq names Alteil a “contender in the ring” in the card combat genre against HEX and Hearthstone. They also put Alteil at the top of their 2013 summer list of crowd-funding projects to watch! The Examiner noted, what “sets this game apart from its rivals is the amount and quality of the game’s art.”JStationX calls Alteil Horizons “the next best card-based RPG.”You can also read about us on:Ten Ton Hammer, BioGamerGirl, ComicBuzz, Gamasutra, Gamer’s Temple, Review the Tech, 2P, AnimeNewsNetwork, MMO Site, and On RPG. 7aa9394dea Title: Alteil: HorizonsGenre: Free to Play, Indie, StrategyDeveloper:Apocoplay LLC, Ludeme Games, Coreedge IncPublisher:Apocoplay LLCRelease Date: 27 Oct, 2016 Alteil: Horizons Crack Highly Compressed alteil horizons. alteil horizons card art. alteil horizons download. alteil horizons download. alteil horizons. alteil horizons download. alteil horizons card art. alteil horizons card art. alteil horizons its getting better. Been playing Alteil since about 2009 or 2010? I forgot. Pretty good game, you can see your whole deck from the start and place them down being mindful of your SP curve and such things. It takes practice. Dont worry about RP and just smash faces in.Alteil Steam client is currently a work in progress but is working. Just if that sluggish response when i try to open discord while having steam client active at same time be gone will be great. And tidalwave isn't core. :3 Basically Tidalwave abuse got banned unless you're playing noncore :p Thus it gets a 4\/5 from me.. This game seems cool really but.. I just can't play this game, first of all I can't get it into full screen because there's like no option menu (maybe I missed it) and esc didn't work either. The music is really cool though.. besides that when you enter the turtorial it seems like the music is so off it sounds as if there are two songs playing, that they're both dominant on different sides on my headset doesn't help at all (no there's nothing wrong with my headset). The text slide is amazing.. but the text keeps teleporting up instead of sliding. I don't have these problems with any other games or songs.Great game and I'd love to play it.. but I just can't stand it sorry. But I'd definatly recomend trying this out it looks amazing.. Great game! but has shortcomings with technical issues. still better better on chrome at the moment for me.. I am a returning player from the old days of Alteil and I really, and I mean REALLY, wanted to like this reboot and... boy did I try. As I said, I used to play Alteil before it was on steam, and even with some previous experience under my belt the game just overall feels like too much of a struggle on all fronts.I know a lot of people are complaining about the optimization, and they have a point, but my major issues are the following:Progression!Progression feels PAINFULLY slow, and keep in mind this is me coming back with my old account where I already had a ton of extra cards I could use. Finding cards that are actually useful to you or help progress towards a deck you'd like to build or try is just too slow. And before anyone says that the game is designed in a way where it encourages you to buy cards with real money, I actually had a good bunch of premium money left on my old account, and after spending all of it, what was I left with? A bunch of useless 1 - 2 stars and a couple of nice 3 star cards that still are of no use to me since they're nowhere near the types of cards I'd like to build decks with. Recycle them for materials? Sure! Except there is a problem with that that I'll get to in a bit... An example fix would be to let you choose between a few different cards when ever you get a drop. Or at the very least let you choose the color. It still wouldn't be perfect but it would help.Crafting! At first I was very excited about the crafting system, but when I got to actually trying it.. It's a little bit convoluted to say the least. There are no tutorials or explanations on how it's supposed to work in game at all, almost like they expect you to look this up online. While it is possible, it's tedious and just flat out bad design. I do like the idea of how the cards themselves are made with the crafting system, but actually getting the materials to even ATTEMPT to craft a single useable card is miserable. You can't craft lower tier materials into higher tier ones even when you have excess amounts of them, and gaining the higher level materials is kind of luck of the draw. As an example, I got around 20 tier 2 falcow crafting materials troughout my time on horizons, and managed to gradually build up 6 of the tier 2 materials that I actually needed only to get unlucky and get a useless card I didn't need with them. (I used an exact recipe to try and get a specific card I wanted).Single player missions! While I like the idea of these single player missions as a way to get materials and cards a lot, I feel like some of them are not explained very well at all. ESPECIALLY considering that the game breaks and changes the core rules of the game a lot all the time without informing the player about it at all. Sometimes there are objectives that the game just flat out doesn't tell you, and the only way you'll find out is when you get a nice "You lose" message on screen after you do something wrong. This is kind of unforgivable to be honest, as it makes the player feel like they've just wasted a lot of time when it wasn't even their fault. At LEAST give the player a checklist of things they should (not) do before a mission starts. To summerize:I feel like the game has a lot of potential, but it feels like a constant uphill battle "to even get to the fun part" of the game, which is building decks and using them against other players. And again, remember that I have a good deal of previous experience and resources with the old Alteil under my belt. But hey, at least it's free, so if you feel like despite all of this you'd like to give it a shot, do so!. As a returning player to this game and someone who spent atleast $300 on it in the past, I can't reccomend this game to anyone. Don't get me wrong, it is a very in depth CCG worthy of awards, but it is wraught with flaws, bugs, and lag. The game itself is amazing, I've never seen so many moves or tactics available in a game, and there are so many cards you will hardly see the same deck twice. Everyone's problems with the tutorials IMO seems to be from lack of details or understanding the game high learning curve. It took me about 20mins just to finish part 1 because the game moves at a snails pace. I thought the game crashed several times after 3min+ wait times for screen changes. I would click off the game to reload it but nope... it keeps telling me I'm still logged in and I have to wait more than 30mins for that message to go away, or log out of my Laptop User Account to reset it(along with everything else I had open). When it does manage to actually load you are visited by at most 5 people playing the game, and are very experienced to the point that you cant even play a real battle. The battles themself are horribly laggy and can take a few mins for a single turn. This game(the Horizons version) is just a clone of the original game with a different background, it was Kickstarter funded almost 6 years ago yet was released 1 year ago. This game will very unlikely ever recieve a bugs patch or actually work like a normal game. Combined with its high price tag for cards and learning curve, with lack of players; I cannot reccomend this.. Lots of optimization issues initially, but runs pretty smoothly now. Longtime player of this game, dating back to its launch. Very fun game with lots of card variety. The open library that is your deck creates an additional layer of strategy. Luck is still a component, but there is a great deal of tactical depth to deck-building.Definitely recommend giving this a try if you like an interesting mix of tactics and deck-building.. Review: A squad based tactical VS Card game where you have to manage RNG AKA Alteil.Story: 7/10A card game needs little story, and while Alteil goes above to provide more the what you will normally see, there are plot holes and little lore to dig through. With so many characters, you can write an epic from them, but we have yet to see this in the game. The story is, we are Iczers, teleported mages whom can summon others to do their bidding to fight for us. We fight because there is a war.Gameplay: 7/10There is a lot to learn, and a lot to think about in Alteil. Perhaps overly much so. The limited deck/file size of 25 means that every card decision is a troubled one, but if you're one of those who likes a challenge, then this game is for you.Or you can just grab a meta deck and think little of what cards you need. That works to. The powercreep is strong in Alteil, as good as the game is.That aside, we have the concept of "rows", "range" and speed.Speed determines which creature goes first. If two creatures have the same speed, it's RNG who goes first.Range determines how far the rows your creature can hit if the row is blocked. If there's 3 enemy creatures in your creature range, which creature you hit is RNG.When playing cards, we have open skills and grimores. the priority is grimore>open skill high speed >open skill low speed. If there are any ties, RNG.UI: 8/10With the inclusion of game speed (and the FF speed), I can now reward Alteil with a solid 8 in UI. It could be improved though, it's hard to drag cards from set to the field.Art: 9/10Art's great.Sound: 7.5/10 It's not really to my preference.Community 8/10The people here are preety friendly and great.CCG tools: 6/10Auction house taking 15%, with the restriction of only paying users can sell. That's really to high isn't it? Card creation aka cauldron is a mess, unknowing, and unreliable useless tool right now. Even with recipes, the chance of you getting what you want is 40%, or less. Save your mats.GM Events: 8/10Tons of events, and events is where you will want to join in and play, because these are the best and most reliable way to get the cards you want. They come often. I don't have complains.Meta: 5/10Some files literally can't win against some files. Nuff said.Final score. 7/10Great time waister. Play if you like complexity and art.. game is closed. The tutorial does, in fact, demonstrate that the AI in single player regularly has a considerable advantage. You begin the campaigns by losing, a lot, to field resets with fewer, and sometimes weaker units than the AI. The AI also seems to randomly cap on resources whenever it wants to, consistently fielding and reviving units, whereas you burn out after round three, no matter what you do. This does not help you learn the game. You can also instantly lose a match by killing the wrong enemy before all of the dialogue has been played out. This is inane, and needs to be changed. You are not given any explaination, but people are aware of this. It's a struggle to do anything in-game, as you get one action per unit, and all you should ever be doing is attacking. Moving and resting are suicidal and pointless. All attacks hit random, applicable targets. Very little is adequately explained, and after carefully reading every bit of information given, I have no idea how you're actually "supposed to" progress. If all of these things sound terrible to you, but you like the concept, I would strongly suggest an infinitely more inviting game, such as Pox Nora.
